This won't be your classic princess story. Missoula Children's Theatre has always incorporated their own twists and turns. This kingdom will have Winter Wind Workers, Blizzard Bringers, Icicle Sharpeners, Snow Smoothers and is ruled by Storm King and Snow Queen. But we can't forget the Prince who is looking for his princess. She lives in her own kingdom with her friend the Pea. Her parents are King Size and Queen Size and rule over The Flower Gardeners, River Runners, Green Shoot Growers and Tree Barkers. This time they are excited to work with students from school district #256. A not-so-little-anymore Red Riding Hood, a not-so-bad-after-all Wolf, rascally raccoons, a handsome Woodsman and a friendly Forest Ranger find the journey through the woods to Grandma's house filled with a few surprises in this MCT adaptation of this well-known fable.  Adults $10 Students $6 Saturday, January 31 - 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM  Friendship Show! -   Walk On: The Story of Rosa Parks- This is a School Show event! Perfect for celebrating Black History Month, this dramatic play tells the story of a determined activist named Rosa Parks. One day in Montgomery, Alabama she refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white person. The resulting uproar launched the Civil Rights movement and changed our country forever. This inspirational presentation shows how the determination of one individual made all the difference in the struggle for freedom and equality in the United States. Moving through her days perpetually on edge, she is as volatile as she is vulnerable.
